| Product Name | NT5M, 32-228aa, Human, His tag, E.coli |
| Description | Purity: > 95% by SDS - PAGE Format: Liquid. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) containing 20% glycerol, 0.1M NaCl, 1mM DTT. NT5M, also known as DNT2, belongs to the 5'(3')-deoxyribonucleotidase family. It localizes to the mitochondrial matrix. This enzyme dephosphorylates the 5'- and 2'(3')-phosphates of uracil and thymine deoxyribonucleotides. The gene is located on chromosome 17 p11.2 in the critical region deleted in the Smith-Magenis syndrome (SMS), a genetic disease of unknown etiology. Recombinant human NT5M protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. |
