Cell membrane, Peripheral membrane protein. Note: Localized at sites of cell-cell contact.Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in the placenta and prostate. Expressed at a lower level in the thyroid, spinal cord, trachea, adrenal gland, skeletal muscle, pancreas, heart, brain, liver and kidney.
