| Description | cGAS Monoclonal Antibody (HGAYN), eBioscience™. The cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS, MB21D1)- STING pathway is a part of the innate immune system. The presence of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) in the cytoplasm signals viral infection and triggers an immune response through the cGAS-STING pathway. cGAS is an enzyme that catalyzes the formation of cyclic GMP-AMP (cGAMP) from ATP and GTP. cGAMP is a second messenger that binds to and activates TMEM173/STING triggering type-I interferon production. |
