| Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to lactadherin and is also known as HMFG and MFGM whose expression can be detected in the mammary epithelial cell surfaces and aortic media but is over expressive in several carcinoma. It is found in the extracellular exosome. This protein plays an extensive role in the maintenance of intestinal epithelial homeostasis and the promotion of mucosal healing and promotes VEGF-dependent neovascularization. It can also contribute to phagocytic removal of apoptotic cells in many tissues. |
