| Description | Rabbit polyclonal to CNN1.Calponin-1 (CNN1) is a thin filament-associated protein implicated in the regulation and modulation ofsmooth muscle contraction. CNN1 is capable of binding to actin, calmodulin, troponin C andtropomyosin. The interaction of CNN1 with actin inhibits the actomyosin Mg-ATPase activity. CNN1 ispart of cGMP kinase signaling complex at least composed of ACTA2/alpha-actin, CNN1/calponin H1,PLN/phospholamban, PRKG1 and ITPR1. |
