In Western Blot expect to see a band at 55kDa and another at about 48kDa, a breakdown product of the 55kDa band. The observed molecular weight of the protein may vary from the listed predicted molecular weight due to post translational modifications, post translation cleavages, relative charges, and other experimental factors. |
