| Product Name | CD207, Recombinant, Human, aa65-328, His-Tag (C-type Lectin Domain Family 4 Member K) |
| Description | Purity ~90% (SDS-PAGE). CD207, also known as C-type lectin domain family 4 member K, is a type 2 transmembrane glycoprotein. This protein is used as a marker for Langerhans cell which represent the immature dendritic cells in the epidermis. Also, it internalizes endogenous proteins such as type 1 procollagen. Internalization by Langerhans cell is thought to lead to suppression of self reactions. CD207 meditates endocytosis of non-peptide antigens containing mannose, N-acetyl glucosamine and fucose that are expressed by mycobacteria and fungae. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa65-328 from human CD207, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~30.9kD (273aa) 28-40kD (SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.) Endotoxin: ~1EU/1ug (LAL) |
