| Description | Thyroxine (T4), BioAssay™ ELISA Kit is a competitive ELISA intended for the quantitative determination of Thyroxine (T4) in fish serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Detection Range: 20-320ng/ml Intra-assay Precision: CV <15% Inter-assay Precision: CV <15% Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of fish Thyroxine (T4) is typically less than 20ng/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest fish Thyroxine (T4) concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations. Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of fish Thyroxine (T4). No significant crossreactivity or interference between fish Thyroxine (T4) and analogs was observed.
