| Description | Mouse Anti-JUP Recombinant Antibody (4C12). This product is a mouse antibody that recognizes JUP. The antibody 4C12 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: ELISA, IF, IHC-P, WB. JUP (junction plakoglobin) is a major cytoplasmic protein. JUP forms distinct complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and is a member of the catenin family since it contains a distinct repeating amino acid motif called the armadillo repeat. Mutation in JUP gene has been associated with Naxos disease. |
