Control Peptide for A3000-07 (affinity purified antibody) and A3000-07P (antiserum). 19 AA peptide sequence mapping at the N-terminal, 2nd extracellular domain of mouse/rat AQP2 (1). Species Homology: Peptide is 100% conserved in rat, 78% in sheep, and 73% in human AQP2. Water is a critical component of all living cells. Interestingly, tissue membranes show a great degree of water permeability. Mammalian red cells, renal proximal tubules, and descending thin limb of Henle are extraordinarily permeable to water.
