| Description | Rabbit Anti-Human SLC6A6 polyclonal antibody for IHC. Sodium- and chloride-dependent taurine transporter, also known as, Solute carrier family 6 member 6, and encoded by the gene name, SLC6A6, transports taurine and beta-alanine. SLC6A6 is localized to the cell membrane and is expressed abundantly in placenta and skeletal muscle. Lower levels are found in heart, brain, lung, kidney and pancreas and even lower levels detected in liver. |
