Product Name | IL4R, Recombinant, Human, aa26-232, His-tag |
Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). IL4R, also known as interleukin 4 receptor subunit alpha isoform, is a pleiotropic cytokine produced by T lymphocytes. It plays an important role in immune responsiveness by regulating proliferation and differentiation of a variety of lymphoid and myeloid cells via binding to high affinity receptors. It markedly inhibits IL-1 production by highly purified normal human monocytes. It has been demonstrated to affect the growth of different human malignancies including pancreatic cancer cells. It plays an important role in Th2-biased immune responses, alternative macrophage activation, mucosal immunity, allergic inflammation, tumor progression, and atherogenesis. Recombinant human IL4R, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa26-232 of human IL4R, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, was expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~24.7kD (215aa), ~28-40kD (SDS-PAGE |
