| Description | Albumin is synthesized by the liver, which accounts for about 40% -60% of total plasma proteins. The molecular weight is about 66450. The main physiological functions include maintaining the colloid osmotic pressure of the blood vessel. It plays an important role in transportation and storage as nutrition of the endogenous amino acids and a carrier. Albumin can be combined and dissolve various substances, such as bilirubin, long chain fatty acid, thyroxine, triiodothyronine, cortisone and aldosterone. Hormones can be transported to the target tissues in the form of inactive. Sample Type: Animal tissue, serum Intended Use: This kit can be used to measure the ALB content in animal tissue, serum and other samples. Test Principle: Albumin can combine with anionic dyes.
