| Description | Albumin, Bovine Serum, PCR Grade, is our highest purity albumin specifically designed for use in all cloning applications. BSA is used to prevent adhesion of the enzyme to reaction tubes and pipette surfaces. BSA also stabilizes some proteins during incubation. Source: Protease free, Fraction V. BSA is heat treated to inactivate nucleases during the purification process.
