| Description | Rabbit Anti-Mouse STD25 polyclonal antibody for WB, ICC. Serine/threonine-protein kinase 25 (EC2.7.11.1; UniProt Q9Z2W1; also known as SOK-1, Ste20-like kinase, Ste20/oxidant stress-response kinase 1, Sterile 20/oxidant stress-response kinase 1, Yeast Sps1/Ste20-related kinase 1) is encoded by the Stk25 gene(Also known as Sok1, Ysk1, C86992, AU018434, 1500019J11Rik) in murine species (Gene ID 59041). STK25, MST3, and MST4 constitute the GCK-III subfamily of the germinal center kinases (GCKs) that are implicated in multiple biological processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, migration, polarity, stress responses, and in metabolic and immune regulation. GCK-III kinases are constitutively autophosphorylated with significant basal activities, which can be enhanced several folds upon MO25 binding. GCK-III kinases are components of supramolecular complex called striatin-interacting phophatase and kinase (STRIPAK). The LKB1-Stk25-Golgi matrix protein 130 (GM130) and Reelin-Dab1 pathways operate in opposite directions to provide a proper balance in regulating neuronal polarization and dendritic Golgi deployment. |
