| Description | MRP2 Monoclonal Antibody (M2III-5). M2III-5 reacts with an internal epitope of MRP2, a 190-200 kD transmembrane protein earlier known as the canalicular multi-organic anion transporter cMOAT, absent in patients with the Dubin-Johnson syndrome, an autosomal recessive liver disorder characterized by chronic conjugated hyperbilirubinemia. MRP2 is a member of the MRP family of multidrug resistance related proteins, and MRP2 overexpression has been observed in a subset of cisplatin resistant cell lines. |
