| Product Name | BAFF Receptor, Recombinant, Human (BAFFR) |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). BAFF Receptor (BAFFR), a member of the TNFR superfamily, is highly expressed in spleen, lymph node, and resting B cells and to some extent in activated B cells, resting CD4+ cells and peripheral blood leukocytes. BAFFR is a type III transmembrane protein that binds with high specificity to BAFF (TNFSF13B). BAFFR/BAFF signaling plays a critical role in B cell survival and maturation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to 76aa from the extracellular portion of full-length BAFFR, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.7kD Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to block BAFF induced mouse splenocyte survival. The expected ED50 for this effect is typically 1-5ug/ml in the presence of 1ug/ml human soluble BAFF. Endotoxin: <0.1ng/ug |
