| Product Name | BAFF Receptor, Recombinant, Human (BAFF-R) |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). BAFF Receptor (BAFFR), a member of the TNFR superfamily, is highly expressed in spleen, lymph node, and resting B cells and to some extent in activated B cells, resting CD4+ cells and peripheral blood leukocytes. BAFFR is a type III transmembrane protein that binds with high specificity to BAFF (TNFSF13B). BAFFR/BAFF signaling plays a critical role in B cell survival and maturation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human BAFF Receptor (rHuBAFF-R) expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.7kD (76aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. Determined by its ability to block BAFF induced mouse splenocyte survival. The expected ED50 for this effect is 1-5ug/ml in the presence of 1ug/ml of human soluble BAFF, corresponding to a specific activity of 200IU/mg. Endotoxin: <1EU/mg (LAL) AA |
