GSK-1 is a selective inhibitor of the H3K27 histone demethylases JMJD3 and UTX, with an IC50 of 60 nM for human JMJD3 in vitro. GSK-J2 poorly inhibits JMJD3 with an IC50 > 100 µM in vitro. GSK-J2 serves as a negative control for in vitro studies with GSK-J1. |
