WB: Approx. 38 kDa band observed in rat brain and human testis lysates (calculated MW of 51.4 kDa according to Rat XP_006252156.1) The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings with different antibodies from other commercial sources and the literature (PMID: 11560857). The 38 kDa band is thought to correspond to the alpha chain of APOJ. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 28 kDa in rat brain. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. |
