| Description | MW: 367.5. Purity ≥98% by TLC. Background: SirtAct is a potent Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) activator. It increases fluorescence by 233% in a SIRT1 activity assay. SIRT1 stimulation by SirtAct leads to decreased tissue factor mediated thrombogenicity in mice. It inhibits NF-kappaB activation and reduces inflammatory cytokine production in lamina propria mononuclear cells from IBD patients. SirtAct also prevents and cures experimental colitis in a mouse model. |
