| Description | AZD8055 is also named as[CCG-168]. AZD8055 is a novel ATP-competitive and selective inhibitor of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) kinase with an IC50 value of 0. 8 nM. It inhibits the phosphorylation of mTORC1 substrates p70S6K and 4E-BP1, mTORC2 substrate AKT, and downstream proteins. AZD8055 also blocked the chemotherapy-induced cell death promoted by ectopic wild-type p62. AZD8055 potently inhibits proliferation, induces autophagy and apoptosis in different cells.
