| Description | Rabbit polyclonal to LXRB.The liver X receptor (LXR) is a member of the nuclear receptor family of transcription factors closelyrelated to nuclear receptors such as PPAR, FXR and RXR. Liver X receptors (LXRs) are importantregulators of cholesterol, fatty acid, and glucose homeostasis. The endogenous oxysterols werediscovered as the natural ligands for LXRs. Two isoforms of LXR, LXRA and LXRB, have beenidentified. LXRB is ubiquitously expressed. |
