Autoclavable sidearms fittings are available for gas delivery, media handling, and probe insertion. Gas delivery and media handling fittings enhance productivity of cell culture, while probe insertion fittings secure oxygen, temperature, or pH sensors in flasks to monitor cell culture parameters. All fittings operate as bioreactors when used together and attached to appropriate cell culture controllers. Fittings are comprised of PET insert with Viton® O-ring, stainless steel tubes held in place by Noryl® nuts with integrated ferrules, and 45 mm polypropylene sealing cap. Fitting 89090-016 features a high temperature resistant EPDM O-ring.

Gas venting cap filter has 0.2 µm pore PTFE membrane.

Dynamic vortex impellers ensure high performance stirring. Wide, vertical sidearms permit use with fittings and probes for feeding and harvesting of cells. May be used with direct drive motor or magnetically driven paddle assembly. Supplied with flat center screw caps.
